All our classes are led by experienced and well qualified instructors.  A brief description of current classes is given below and should you require further information please do not hesitate to get in touch with the Centre or instructors, whose contact details are also given.

Do you love to sing? Come and join this fun, friendly group. No experience necessary, no need to read music. Varied repertoire – something for everyone.

Tutor led ukulele classes. Not suitable for beginners. This class has a waiting list – contact Diane for details about this and other groups as well as regular beginners’ courses.

Modern Jive

This class focuses on dancers who are new to Jive although experienced dancers are also welcome. The structure of the class means that it is not necessary to bring a partner so no one is excluded.

Pilates

Pilates is an excellent form of body and mind conditioning. In our sessions we encourage the recruitment of deep core muscles which help us to support, control and stabilise movement of the body. Pilates will develop a strong sense of body awareness, strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, co-ordination and balance

Stretch and Tone

This friendly class targets specific muscle groups with the aim of improving movement and flexibility and is suitable for all ages and abilities.  The exercises and routines are performed to music creating an upbeat, fun atmosphere which helps to relax and de-stress.

Lilia Jane Dance

Tiny Tots/Mini Stars

The Tiny Tots class is aimed at children aged 2-3 years and the Mini Stars focuses on children aged 4 years and over.

Yoga

Yoga is an ancient practice which aims to improve strength, flexibility and balance. Breathing techniques are taught which can promote relaxation and relieve stress.
